A poem to a smile

Leende English

Think how little it costs to smile at one you know or to an unknown.

I want to smile more - because I like to smile.

I'm always happy when someone known or unknown smile to me. Children or adults.

A smile is contagious!

Mutual Respect

Mutal respect

Instead of taking things for granted we many times need to express how/not how we want to be treated.

Then you can use feedback to appreciate when you where treated they way you wanted or corrective feedback when you you where not treated that way.

Forgive me

11Vykort 216x154 Förlåt mig mås crimsson engelska

I have been working with conflict management for 15 years, one of my many insights is that it easy to give power to others. If I give power over my self to others - for example controlling my moods, I am more prone to get angry at the other for using the power I just gave to the other.

So one key in conflict management is simply not to give away power over self to others.

It is not easy - but it is important and we all need to practise and take small steps!

Take a step outside your comfort zone now and then

Comfort zone

In the right context, we dare to leave our comfort zone - and when we take a step outside our comfort zone -  development sprouts.

... and that's among other things feedback comes in!

What would be taking a step outside your comfort zone?

  • Ask someone for feedback?
  • Put a boundary?
  • Ask for help?
  • Say no?
  • Talk to someone you do not know?
  • Book lunch with a colleague you want to get to know better?
  • Give someone feedback?
  • Care a bit more about yourself? (the good selfishness)
  • Ask your boss for more responsibility?
